Glass Printing
This term we have been looking at Print Making. We have experimented with lots of different methods. Here is some glass printing.
Edvard Munch
We looked at The Scream. We learnt that Munch created 4 versions of The Scream. One of them was stolen and one once sold for almost 120 million dollars!
We talked about what the foreground and the background are. We also learnt about hot and cold colours. Hot colors were used for the sky and cold colours for the land and water. We covered our background with black paint, waited for it to dry, and then scratched it off. Finally, we took a photo of ourselves screaming and added ourselves to the bridge. What do you think?

Gustav Klimt
We looked at two of Klimt's most famous pieces - Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer and The Kiss. We studied the patterns on the clothes and discovered Adele's initials on her dress! We also looked at pictures of Maori chiefs and then posed for a photo in our own 'cloak'. Check out the amazing patterns we created in pastel, paint and vivid.
