A discussion during our recent Inquiry session when students were brainstorming what questions they would like to have answered…
"Is being a nurse tough?"
"Is being a doctor tough?"
"Is being a dentist tough?"
"Everything is tough when you get old" replied Miss 5 to her classmates.

A teacher asked the students what jobs they could do if they worked in the hospital. Miss 5 put up her hand and said: "Well . . . if people in the army oopsy doopsy shoot someone, then I could help them".
Miss 5 was telling her teacher that she wanted to be a vet for squirrels. It was suggested that she may need to do this overseas as NZ doesn't have squirrels. "No", was the emphatic reply. "I want to be in NZ, because Santa comes to NZ first".
Miss 5 asked her teacher to read a note her Mother had popped in her lunch box. "Is your Mum not very good at writing?" asked another. "No", Miss 5 replied. "She is good. It's just not her strong point".
Two girls were overheard discussing who they were going to marry.
"No! Don't marry him. What if he goes bad?" asked the first Miss 5.
"That's ok. I'll just send him to boot camp" was the reply.

Master 5, after a teacher did something for him responded with "You're not JUST a teacher, you've got good ideas too!"
